As a workshop associate with VEE Corporation (producers of the stage show "Sesame Street Live!"), one of my main tasks was to create the shoes and other footwear for many of the characters. These shoes are cast from latex, with additional molded latex pieces glued/stitched and painted, and with a quick-release buckle inside the shoe to allow the inner athletic shoes to be switched out as needed.
