This steampunk pirate leg (as opposed to the more traditional wooden peg leg) was created for a production of "How I Became a Pirate" for the Children's Theatre of Charlotte. The base of the leg is leather painted gold, with various gears and found-item "gadgets" riveted and/or glued into place. (Costume designer, Marina Arconti)
